I read this book as a guided reading book in 4th grade! One thing that I would like to tell future readers of this book is that Swindle isn't the name of the dog.I thought that Swindle was the name of the dog on the front cover because it says SWINDLE right under the picture of the dog.Usually captions go under pictures to describe them! The kids made an exciting ,risk taking, suspenseful plan that really gave the book a new spin! Along with suspense the book was also filled with humor! Some of the things Griffin and his friends said to each other made me laugh!at one point I almost burst out of my chair! The suspenseful parts were when the kids were making their plan a reality! This book is a great book!I hope you read this book an really enjoy it!
