This book is a great book!Some children in my class had read this book as a guided reading book!After seeing their wonderful projects on the book I knew I had to read this book!Evan and Jessie were very unique characters!Jessie had the school smarts and Evan had the common sense street smarts! When I first started reading this book I thought Jessie would win! I will not tell you who won, so I don't take away the fun of reading the book!Hope you like this book!

I loved the book Lemonade War. I couldn't stop reading. Some children in my grade did projects on the book. I immediately became interested. When I heard it was a nutmeg nominee, I just had to blog. I felt bad for Jessie when she went bawling to her mom saying that Evan said he hated her. I was about to cry myself.I became angry when the girls at Jessie's school made fun of her. I was so surprised when... well I don't want to give too much away. Hope you loved the book (just like me).
ReplyDeleteThe book I read was The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies.This story tells about a brother and sister arguing about who is better.They decide to have a lemonade war.The rules of the war are 1. whoever makes the most money wins.2. is that they only have the 5 last days of summer.Evan the main character is people smart. Jessie the other main character is book smart. The thing that starts this whole war is that Jessie skipped a grade and is now in Evan's class.I really enjoyed this book because it is funny, entertaining, and at the end heartwarming.I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys comedy and lemonade. It was a fabulous book and is now one of my all time favorites.

The title of this book is the lemonade war by Jacqueline Davies. The main characters are Evan and Jessie. When Evan finds out that Jessie is skipping a grade he is upset. Even and Jessie decide to make a bet that whoever makes the most money by selling lemonade wins. They both have advantages though, Jessie is number smart and Evan is people smart. Who will win? I definitely think this book was good, it was funny and i didn't want to put it down. It was very detailed and fun to read, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes humor and adventure. This is one of my favorite books!

The Lemonade War was great. There is arguing and lemonade. This is a novel about a boy named Evan and a girl named Jessie in combat. They try to raise money pie running a lemonade stand. I love the part when Evan creates the lemonade on the go. The book reminds me of a big,icy,cold cup of lemonade. I used to have a lemonade stand and I got $3. That was a lot of money. i now Jacqueline Davies is a fine writer. She is totally awesome.

the lesson of this story is to always love your siblings even in hard times they could even turn a hard day into a peaceful and happy day. I liked this story and how they author made the lemonade war and I kind of liked the characters personally. If there were a book 2 I would be the first one with the book . Thank you author.
